The Colne River Room is the center's function room and main music venue. It hosts the weekly music gigs;
Folk at the Pump House,
Pump House Jazz and the
Watford Open Mic @ The Pump House. It is also available for hire on some Saturday night through the year.

The room has no fixed seating and chairs can be arranged for a variety of functions. When used auditorium style the room can accommodate a small stage and seating for 100. The room also works well as a dance venue or a combination of both. There is an adjacent bar for the exclusive use of the events in the room.
